Thomas D. Wright

Mr. Wright began practicing law in 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA with Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott. His practice was primarily in the areas of Federal income taxation, mergers, acquisitions and real estate development. His clients included Alcoa, Gulf Oil, Ryan Homes, Oxford Development Company and many family owned and operated businesses. He was Chairman of the firm's tax department, a member of its Board of Directors, and its President and Chief Executive Officer. He currently acts as Senior Counsel to the firm.

 

Mr. Wright has been an active investor in privately owned businesses and real estate since 1970. He and Henry Posner Jr. formed the Hawthorne Group in 1987 to invest and manage personal funds for their families. Since its inception through today, Mr. Wright has served as President and co-CEO of The Hawthorne Group.

 

In 1985, Mr. Wright co-founded Business Records Management, Inc. (BRM), an off-site records and information management company in Pittsburgh, PA and served as its Chairman until it was sold in 2008.

 

Mr. Wright serves as a director, manager or officer of many privately held companies and charitable organizations.

 

Mr. Wright received his B.A. degree from Dickinson College and his LLB degree from Harvard Law School where he was a member of the Harvard Law Review.

From 1988 to 1997, Mr. Wright was an attorney with Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Weil, Gotshal & Manges in New York, NY practicing in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance.  From 1997 to 1999, he was an attorney in the Commercial Finance division of GE Capital in Stamford, CT, overseeing legal matters for its operations in the Midwest and West regions and Canada. 

 

From 1999 to 2008, Mr. Wright was Vice President and General Counsel of Business Records Management, and became President of Rosetta Capital in 2004.  He currently serves on the Boards of Forney, LP  and Cheetah Technologies, LP.

 

Mr. Wright earned a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College and a JD from Northwestern University School of Law.

George M. Elish

Mr. Elish has over 30 years of experience in a variety of industries, including records management, cable TV, wireless communications, land acquisition and development, municipal management and community service. 

 

From 1989 to 1992 he was a special assistant to Mr. Wright at the Hawthorne Group.  From 1992 to 1998 he was Vice President of Business Records Management, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, and from 2001 to 2004 was CEO of National Records Centers, Inc., a North American network of independent records management companies.

 

Mr. Elish received his BS in Consumer Studies from Penn State University and an MBA from the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Steven B. Wright

Mr. Wright joined Business Records Management, Inc. (BRM) in 1995 and served as its President until 2009.  During his tenure, BRM acquired and merged the operations of six information management companies located in Pittsburgh, Erie and Johnstown and BRM grew to be the largest privately owned and operated records and information management company in Western Pennsylvania.  In February, 2008, BRM was sold to Goldman Sachs.  Mr. Wright continued to remain as President and oversee the Western Pennsylvania operations until November, 2009 when he left to join Rosetta Capital. 

 

Mr. Wright earned a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and a JD from the University of Miami, School of Law.  Mr. Wright has served on the Boards of National Records Centers, Inc., PRISM International  (a records management industry trade association), the Young Presidents' Organization of Pittsburgh, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh.

Laurie A. Dunk
Controller/Financial Analyst

 


Ms. Dunk has over 15 years of experience in business planning, financial modeling and financial performance analysis in the aerospace, defense and information management industries.

 

Ms. Dunk earned a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.
